The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

A beautiful bulb garden

This was a gift from a dear friend and has been a delight. With one exception, all the bulbs have done well. I am, however, surprised that not one of the narcissus bulbs grew ... not a bit. It's as if they were not actually included. Otherwise, this has been lovely.

So far, so good

Ordered this a week or so before Christmas as a gift. Had been concerned about low reviews last year and called WWF and was told there had been some supply chain issues last year that may have affected quality but no problems of that sort now. I took a chance on the large size, as I love this collection. Giftee just sent a photo…the bulbs are already showing lots of sturdy green growth several inches high already, with more little shoots breaking ground. I’ll report back later about blooms but just wrote this in case anyone else is unsure because of past reviews

First Disappointment from WFF Ever

Never resembled the picture - not even remotely. Overflowing (overcrowded) and flopping from the get go (pushing soil out/over the edge of the planter), primarily tiny, unremarkable, unscented daffodils. Saw maybe one tulip, one hyacinth, though there was a reasonable showing of muscari. Felt like WFF just planted end of season leftovers. Absolutely not worth the $80. Ones at Trader Joe’s (granted much smaller) closer to $15 were much nicer. This was my first disappointment from WFF.

No Narcissus

I received the Rainbow Swirl collection as a gift. I was delighted and looking forward to the blooms. Sadly, None of the Narcissus bloomed. The other blooms brought me joy.

Gorgeous and smells fantastic!

Will be ordering the tulip and daffodil bulbs for my garden and ordering this collection next year. It brightened my Jan., it's still blooming and should last until the first week of March. Wonderful!

The bulbs in our forced bulb collections (which may include Crocus, Hyacinths, Iris, Muscari, Narcissus, and Tulips) arrive potted, with a layer of protective packaging material on top. You may discard this packing material.

Set the pots on a sunny windowsill in a cool room. A nighttime temperature of about 50-55°F, such as is found near a window, is ideal. Water when the potting mix is dry to the touch. We recommend removing the pots from the basket or cachepot before watering. Push any Spanish Moss aside, water the pots thoroughly and let them drain before replacing in the basket. Rearrange the Moss around the leaves.

There is no need to fertilize. Please note that the growth of the bulbs will be slower in a cooler part of the house. Warmer temperatures may speed growth, but can result in weaker flowering stems. Bulbs usually begin blooming 4-5 weeks after arrival.

What you do with your bulbs after they bloom depends on your climate and your inclinations. The bulbs can't be forced to bloom indoors again, but they can be planted outdoors--if they are hardy in your area. (Most of the bulbs in our collections are winter hardy to at least Zone 4 [-30°F]. Narcissus 'Avalanche' is hardy to Zone 6 [-10°F].) Continue to water the bulbs after they bloom and keep them in a sunny window. When the threat of hard frost has passed, plant each bulb with a trowel at a depth equivalent to about three times the bulb's height. Expect 2 or more years to pass before the bulbs bloom again. In our experience, Tulips will rarely bloom again. In fact, we think caring for the bulbs after bloom and planting them out in spring is rarely worth the effort, so we prefer simply to toss the bulbs out after they've finished blooming. However, we know of customers who enjoy the process and don't mind the wait.
