They incorporate both locally grown flowers (during our all-too-short New England growing season) and stems from specialty growers around the world. The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

Great birthday gift for husband

Bought for my husband's birthday. The colors were similar or the same as the picture, the fragrance was delightful. I cared for them by changing the water and cutting the stems every week. They lasted about 2-3 weeks! One quibble: the lilies did not open all at once, together. As long as one doesn't mind the extended blooming due to different lily types, you might enjoy this one.

I wanted to send flowers to my mom for the loss of her sister. I also chose to add a gift card so she could select something special to plant in her honor. My mom was so pleased with the freshness and quality and stunning beauty of the blooms. After a week, she is still enjoying them. I saw them in person today and was just as pleased! I knew the quality of WFF would not disappoint! Thank you!

Might have been great. Had potential, but ....

2 Stars only since the flowers arrived dry, several were broken off, and the delivery service just tossed them on the proch. Didn't ring the bell, knock on the door or anything. Cost of delivery would lead one to expect better.Could have been great. When we openned the box, it smelled fantastic. Customer service helped out, but sad outcome for a first time user. Will try again becasue we know WFF has great plants and garden things.

Uncommonly Spectacular!

We bought these for our 96-year-old grandma for Mother's Day this year. She was delighted beyond measure! They were so impressive and beautiful, that the director of Gram's nursing home asked to borrow the flowers as an altar decoration for Mother's Day Mass -- Gram was thrilled!

To maximize your bouquet’s vase life and keep your flowers looking their best, follow these simple instructions:

  • Give your vase a good scrub with diluted bleach (ratio of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water) to make sure no bacteria is lingering.
  • Dissolve contents of the enclosed flower food packet in your vase following the directions on the packet. Flower food is not included if your bouquet does not require it.
  • Recut the bottom of each stem at an angle, removing at least 2” to your desired height.
  • The blossoms will take up a lot of water in the first couple of days. Check the water level daily and add water as needed. Replace water every 2–3 days.
  • To lengthen the life of your bouquet, recut the stems in 3–4 days.
  • Remove older flowers as they fade.
  • Keep your bouquet away from direct sun, drafts, and sources of heat.

For Rose bouquets:
Gently remove the outer guard petals, which may be bruised or damaged.

For larger Gerbera Daisies:
Gently remove the protective netting around each flower head and adjust the plastic tube on each stem so that the top of the tube rests against the base of the flower head.
