HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

OUR GUARANTEE

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

absolutely fantastic

WONDERFUL< WONDERFUL<WONDERFUL.
I purchased this arrangement for my Mother and could not be more pleased. The flowers arrived in tip-top condition and were packaged with extreme care to prevent damage. The blooms lasted for almost 10 days. Her biggest dilemma was choosing a vase large enough to accommodate all the stems without overcrowding. I have been a loyal customer of WFF since 2018 and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work

Gorgeous & Long-lasting

A viewer from Glastonbury, CT, USA

Gorgeous bouquet with numerous lovely flowers. Long lasting, too, even though I lazily only trimmed the stems once (upon receipt)—& never fully changed the water for 1-1/2 weeks (just keep adding water). More than half of the flowers are still good after 1-1/2 weeks. Just discarded some flowers today, but still have enough flowers to fill out the vase. Will definitely order your cut flowers again!

I sent this to my daughter for college graduation. It is beautiful and looks almost exactly like the picture!

Very disappointed

Carl Fredrickson from Gulf Coast Florida

The flowers arrived beaten up and several were clearly not going to recover. They did not recover and were thrown away. I would not buy a fresh bouquet this way again - the local florist does a much better job.

Wanted to love it...

Emily Nixon from Charlotte, NC

I ordered this for my mother's 60th birthday. When it arrived she was so excited, but there was already one bloom drooping when she pulled them out of the box. We really hoped that getting it in some water and sun would perk it up, but by the next day more blooms were drooping, and by the 3rd day about six of the flowers were dead. Very disappointed, especially since it was a birthday gift for my mother.

Print Grow Guide

To maximize your bouquet’s vase life and keep your flowers looking their best, follow these simple instructions:

  • Give your vase a good scrub with diluted bleach (ratio of 1 part bleach to 10 parts water) to make sure no bacteria is lingering.
  • Dissolve contents of the enclosed flower food packet in your vase following the directions on the packet. Flower food is not included if your bouquet does not require it.
  • Recut the bottom of each stem at an angle, removing at least 2” to your desired height.
  • The blossoms will take up a lot of water in the first couple of days. Check the water level daily and add water as needed. Replace water every 2–3 days.
  • To lengthen the life of your bouquet, recut the stems in 3–4 days.
  • Remove older flowers as they fade.
  • Keep your bouquet away from direct sun, drafts, and sources of heat.

For Rose bouquets:
Gently remove the outer guard petals, which may be bruised or damaged.

For larger Gerbera Daisies:
Gently remove the protective netting around each flower head and adjust the plastic tube on each stem so that the top of the tube rests against the base of the flower head.
