HOW PLANTS ARE SHIPPED

The size of the plants we ship has been selected to reduce the shock of transplanting. For some, this means a large, bareroot crown. Others cannot travel bareroot or transplant best if grown in containers. We ship these perennials and annuals in 1 pint pots, except as noted. We must point out that many perennials will not bloom the first year after planting, but will the following year, amply rewarding your patience. We ship bulbs as dormant, bare bulbs, sometimes with some wood shavings or moss. Shrubs, Roses, vines, and other woody plants may be shipped bareroot or in pots. The size of the pot is noted in the quick facts for each item.

WHEN WE SHIP

We ship our bulbs and plants at the right time for planting in your area, except as noted, with orders dispatched on a first-come, first-served basis by climate zone. We also ship a wide range of containers and planters, tools, supplies, fertilizers, garden wear, garden decor items, as well as indoor decorations like wreaths and dried bouquets when available. Estimated dates for shipping are indicated in the green Shipping Details box for each item. Please supply a street address for delivery. Kindly contact us with two weeks notice, if you'll be away at the expected time of delivery.

OUR GUARANTEE

We guarantee to ship plants that are in prime condition for growing. If your order is damaged or fails to meet your expectations, we will cheerfully replace or refund it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-800-503-9624 or email us at [email protected]. Please include your order number or customer number when contacting us.

Rare and gorgeous palm tree

A viewer from Washington, DC

I ordered this Ruffled Fan Palm tree few months ago from White Flower Farm and I clearly didn't get disappointed: I was amazed by how careful my plant was packaged, got delivered earlier than expected and without any damages. The plant size was also very generous and a new leaf is already about to unfold!

I also believe that the value is really high for the asking price. I highly recommend ordering this plant with WFF! :)

Absolutely fabulous!

A viewer from NY

As always, WFF does not disappoint. I have been looking for this palm for several years and was elated when one of my favorite nurseries offered it.

Usual care in packing and amazing plant inside. It is even prettier than pictured and mine was very generous in size (close to 3 feet tall). It looks absolutely spectacular and will certainly brighten up approaching winter and hopefully many more years to come.

And by the way, it is incredible value for the price (believe me, I looked and looked, and looked). Highly recommend!

Blown away!!!

A viewer from Roseville, California

A rare gem, couldn’t find this baby anywhere else! So glad I found it here- White Flower Farm is amazing! Like anyone, I was a bit hesitant to buy a real plant online. Estimated shipping wasn’t super clear at checkout so I called in- they assured me that these specific plants’ status were shipping and to wait 7-10 from purchase date to receive a shipped confirmation. Mine was shipped out 5 days after purchase date. Woohoo! Upon receipt, the box is pretty long and large! I carefully unboxed it and i was super impressed with how well packaged it was!!! This Ruffled Fan Palm exceeded our expectations and then some- I actually thought it was fake and had to actually feel the soil for myself to believe it to be true! Lol! What really took me back was how large the plant actually was- front base to top, mine is a little over 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. A few leaves were torn but I’ve read that can happen due to the fan shape and natural splitting. I don’t mind too much. Can’t wait to see this baby grow!!!

Gorgeous house plant!

the Fleurrista from Las Vegas, Nevada

I was concerned about how this plant would arrive. I was hoping it would be in one piece. It could not have been more thoughtfully packaged. Like the previous reviewer, I had no damage at all to my plant in shipping. I'm amazed at the care in packing Thank you. This green beauty looks like it's fake it's so perfect. It is the ideal addition to our living room where we just finished putting in a new fireplace surrounded by deep charcoal colored Brazilian granite with bright silver specs. The room looks like something out of a magazine. Lots of compliments. Thank you! I may buy another.

Palms are attractive ornamentals throughout the world in tropical or Mediterranean-like climates. Many are easy-to-grow houseplants in colder regions and will produce new glossy, dark green leaves each year. The mature plant height of our houseplants reflects what we expect the plant to grow under normal houseplant conditions. The instructions below are for growing indoors.

LIGHT: Provide your plant with plenty of light near a south- or west-facing window.

WATERING: Water thoroughly when the surface of the soil mix is dry to the touch. Plants require less water during the winter months when they are not actively growing.

TEMPERATURE: Provide room temperatures above 50°F.

FERTILIZER: When plants are in active growth from April through September, use a balanced (18-18-18) houseplant fertilizer monthly, diluted to half strength.
