In Holland, Daffodil bulbs are graded by their circumference. Our usual grade of bulb produces two or more flowering stems the first year. For some varieties, such as this, we offer a size of bulb that is about a year younger than our usual grade. In the trade, these younger bulbs are often called "landscape" size. They produce one or more flowering stems the first year and are easier and quicker to plant in quantities because they fit in a smaller hole. 'Fortissimo' is also available in our usual grade.
