Tuberous Begonias offer spectacular flowers in a wide range of colors over an exceptionally long season, and do this in shade. They have specific requirements for culture, but the results are worth every effort. In our video, you’ll see how head gardener Cheryl Karpeichik starts the tubers into growth indoors in late winter or early spring and then brings them into bloom by summer.
Most of the varieties in the White Flower Farm Begonia greenhouse come from the world-famous English nursery, Blackmore and Langdon. The plants’ luminous colors, flower size, and exquisite shapes put lesser strains to shame. People come from hundreds of miles around to see the display at our nursery in July and August.
Our video shows how to pot and grow these Begonias.
