Whether you enjoy growing your own fruits and vegetables or you're interested in knowing the source of your food, planting a kitchen garden for a successful harvest is easy and fun.
As part of our commitment to sustainability and clean, delicious, homegrown food, we grow our vegetables from non-GMO seeds (organic and untreated, if available). Herbs are grown from seed, cuttings, and plugs. In our screened greenhouses, we employ IPM (Integrated Pest Management), organic practices, biological controls, and environmentally sound products. IPM involves good sanitation, frequent inspections, yellow sticky cards, and the release of beneficial insects with an appetite for pests. We use no pesticides of any kind for insect or disease control on edible plants and no growth regulators or neonicotinoids on any of the plants we grow. We make our own soilless potting mix, incorporating beneficial fungi for plant health. Our 100% recycled pots are recyclable and scannable gray plastic. Plants are shipped in 100% recycled and recyclable pulp paper trays that can be composted.
