Garden Walks with Cheryl Karpeichik and/or Eliot Wadsworth
Garden Walks with Cheryl Karpeichik and/or Eliot Wadsworth

Come visit the farm and take a guided tour of our display gardens with head gardener Cheryl Karpeichik and White Flower Farm owner Eliot Wadsworth. Discover how we trial and select the plants we offer to customers, see what’s percolating in the gardens, and take home a few ideas to explore further in your own landscape. These casual tours are fun opportunities to ask questions, hear a bit about White Flower Farm and the nursery business, and to learn from Cheryl, who is among the wisest and most experienced temperate-climate gardeners we know.

Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 - 10 a.m., rain or shine Garden Walks Series - The Lloyd Border Shows Its Strength

It’s a truism in the garden center business that foot traffic slows to a trickle after the busy spring planting season. We experience this phenomenon at WFF and it’s a shame, as our display gardens are designed to deliver a long season of interest. Indeed, our 280’ long Lloyd Border (named after the master English plantsman Christopher Lloyd) looks its beefiest and best in the fall and this Garden Walk will focus on how this border merges long-term cornerstone plantings with short-term nips and tucks. We’ll also have a look at our delightful and extensive Dahlia display and see lots of colorful annuals pushing hard as gardening season enters its home stretch.
