Digitalis Camelot Lavender |
A big improvement on older varieties for the border, the Camelot Foxgloves stunned visitors to the 2004 Chelsea Flower Show in England. The flowers are carried all round the stem and a mass of secondary spikes follows the flowering of the main spike. Great for cutting, 'Camelot Lavender' has deep lavender flowers heavily speckled in the throat and the flowers are held horizontally, rather than hanging down, so the freckles are revealed. Gorgeous.
