Truly the King of Begonias, Rex are known and grown for their strikingly patterned, heart-shaped leaves. The foliage of 'Red Tango' sports a burgundy center set off by a pink band, and framed by silvery green and dark green margins. Pale pink flowers are a bonus. Enjoy your Begonia outdoors in the summer, then bring it indoors before cold weather to continue growing as a colorful houseplant.
The genus Begonia offers a wide selection of outstanding foliage as well as flowers. Most plants need bright, indirect light, well-drained soil, at least 50% humidity, and warm temperatures (70–75°F) to be at their best. During the summer, they become one of the most stylish and exciting plants for shade. Hardy to Zone 10.
