Pure salmon pink, with no dark spots. An unexpectedly ladylike performance for a Poppy.
Poppies' broad, silky flowers with brocaded centers are borne above pale green, undistinguished foliage. But while the flowers are in bloom, you'll never notice the low-growing leaves. Plant Poppies in groups in a sunny, well-drained position and match them with summer bloomers or annuals that spread out and will conceal their early dormancy. Poppies also make stunning cut flowers when given a simple treatment that reduces the loss of sap. Sear the ends of freshly cut stems with a match. Our plants are shipped early, to allow them time to settle in and make a good start in your garden.
