Borettana Cippolini Onion

Borettana Cippolini Onion

An exquisitely flavored Italian heirloom, 'Borettana' has flattened, 2in spheres with golden tan skins and fine-textured flesh. Traditionally served whole, either braised, pickled, or as kabobs. An excellent keeper. Matures in 75-80 days. Each bundle contains 60 seedlings. For more information on growing and care, click Growing Guide. No Express or Priority delivery. Mailing address required for shipment.

Please note: 'Borettana' is a "long day" variety of Onion, which means it requires the long summer days found north of the 36th parallel, which runs roughly through St. Louis, MO. It is not recommended for gardeners who live south of this line.

Every state has agricultural regulations that restrict the shipment of certain plants. We are sorry, but we cannot ship this item to the following states: GA, ID, NV, WA
